Expected Behaviors
Be Genuine

- ✓ Be honest about your intentions for using Nichehood
- ✓ Represent yourself accurately in profiles and conversations
Foster Positive Connections
- ✓ Engage in constructive, meaningful conversations
- ✓ Support and encourage fellow community members
- ✓ Share knowledge and resources generously
- ✓ Celebrate diversity in interests and perspectives
Respect Boundaries
- ✓ Accept when someone isn't interested in connecting
- ✓ Respect others' privacy and personal information
- ✓ Ask for consent before sharing others' content or photos
- ✓ Honor RSVPs and commitments to meetups
Contribute Positively
- ✓ Share relevant local events and opportunities
- ✓ Provide helpful feedback and suggestions
- ✓ Report safety concerns promptly
- ✓ Help newcomers feel welcome
Prohibited Behaviors
Zero Tolerance
The following will result in immediate account termination:
- ✗ Threats of violence or harm
- ✗ Sharing explicit or inappropriate content
- ✗ Impersonation or identity theft
- ✗ Organizing illegal activities
- ✗ Endangering minors in any way
Harassment & Discrimination
- ✗ Bullying, intimidation, or stalking
- ✗ Hate speech based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, etc.
- ✗ Unwanted sexual advances or inappropriate comments
- ✗ Doxxing or sharing private information
- ✗ Targeted harassment campaigns
Misuse of Platform
- ✗ Spam or excessive self-promotion
- ✗ Misleading or false information
- ✗ Commercial solicitation without permission
- ✗ Creating multiple or fake accounts
- ✗ Manipulating matching algorithms
Meetup & Event Guidelines
Organizing Events
- →Provide accurate event details (time, location, requirements)
- →Choose public, accessible venues for first-time meetups
- →Set clear expectations about costs or requirements
- →Cancel with adequate notice if plans change
Attending Events
- →RSVP accurately and update if plans change
- →Arrive on time or notify if running late
- →Respect the event's purpose and other attendees
- →Follow venue rules and local regulations

Content Guidelines
Profile Content
- Recent, clear photos of yourself
- Genuine interests and hobbies
- Positive, welcoming bio
- Contact information or social media handles
- Promotional or commercial content
Shared Content
When sharing content in communities:
- • Ensure relevance to the local community
- • Verify accuracy of information
- • Credit original sources
- • Avoid excessive posting
- • No commercial promotions without permission
Reporting & Enforcement
How to Report
- • Use the in-app report button on profiles or content
- • Email safety@nichehood.com for urgent issues
- • Include screenshots and context when possible
- • Report immediately - don't wait
Our Response Process
- 1. Review report within 24 hours
- 2. Investigate thoroughly and fairly
- 3. Take appropriate action based on severity
- 4. Notify reporter of outcome when possible
Enforcement Actions
Depending on severity:
- • Warning and education
- • Content removal
- • Temporary suspension
- • Permanent ban
- • Law enforcement referral
